What music do you play?
We play mainly original Cuban and Brazilian music with a funky edge and soulful vocals. The perfect party music to get you dancing and screaming for more! The musicians are experienced in many different genres with a huge reportoire of music, so we can arrange to play for any length of time at any kind of venue. We use only the top musicians in the country so that you are guaranteed to get outstanding music!
How many musicians are in the band?
We are diverse and can provide an intimate latin jazz quartet for smaller venues and background music, right up to a 12 piece ensemble for parties and events where you want to dance! For dance music the minimum is 8 musicians, but the full line up is the best!
What does the band cost?
It depends on the number of musicians, location, and how long you want us to play! We are also able to provide a PA system and our own sound engineer if needed. Email or call us with your requirements and we can discuss your budget.

Can you provide a DJ for my event?
Yes! The Vinyl Gibbon (David Elliott) and Limon are both professional DJ's with a passion for Latin music, and are able to cater for many different styles of music, available as a duo or individually. We have a vast collection of the most contemporary and the oldest Latin music and will tailor our sets for the audience. If our main DJ's are not available, we are well connected in the music scene and can provide some of the best DJ's in the UK!
Can you teach me to dance salsa?
Yes! We can provide professional salsa dance classes, as part of the performance or privately. Alberto Limonta Perez "Limon" is highly experienced dance teacher from Havana. He teaches Cuban Style Casino Salsa Classes with Limon's unique style incorporating Timba, Mambo, Chachacha, Pilon, Mozambique, Rumba/Folklorica. Private classes are available by reservation: singles £30 per hour. Couples £40 per hour.
How far can you travel to perform?
We are based in Brighton and London, but can travel to any part of the world to perform! Sunny places with palm trees are preferable, but we will travel anywhere! For bookings outside of our local area travel and accommodation will be incorporated into the fee.
