Sanna Hartfield (vocals)
| Sanna Hartfield brings the soulful vocals to DeLatin Sound, combining her English and Spanish to create a Salsa Soul blend. She is a professional dancer with a passion for Latin music and dance styles. Sanna has a powerful voice and a great stage presence, using her experience of 10 years teaching various styles of dance in Stockholm, Brighton and London. She currently performs with bands and DJ's at many prestigious venues in New York, Sweden and the UK. |
Robin Jones is a legendary conguero, whos career includes spells with Machito, Mongo Santamaria, Charlie Palmieri, Arturo Sandaval, Stan Getz and Eddie Henderson. His own band King Salsa has become something of an international institution in Latin (mainly Cuban) music, dance and folklore. King Salsa has been featured at most of the world's best jazz and Latin venues and festivals including sell-outs at the legendary Ronnie Scott's club in London, the Brecon Jazz Festival, Marlborough Jazz Festival, Malta, Pori and alongside Irakere at London's Cabot Hall. |
Roberto Pla (timbales)
| Roberto Pla is a legendary timbale player and Musical Director from Colombia. His 12 piece all-star Latin Ensemble have toured the world with performances all the top venues and festivals with numberous TV/Film appearances. High profile private clients include Joan Collins, Lady Annabel Goldsmith and The Admirable Crichton. As well as Latin legends, Roberto has worked with a diverse range of artists such as Kate Bush, Boney M, Motorhead and M People. |
Aaron Liddard (sax/flute)
| Aaron Liddard is the daddy of his high energy horn section "Cream Horns". He has played with Prince, Jools Holland and Amy Winehouse, and appeared on various TV shows and music videos including Amy's documentary DVD and "Rehab". These guys create a tight, fat, punchy sound and charismatic performance and are among the top players in the country. An amazing Latin horn section. |
Raul D'Oliveira (trumpet)
| Raul De Oliveira was born in Portugal in 1952. He grew up in a very musical family, leaving school at age 12 to play in a band with his brothers. When he was older he left Portugal to travel the world, playing the trumpet as his main instrument. He has worked with many different artists including George Michael, Elton John, Cliff Richard, Sting, Gloria Gaynor and many others. He now lives in the UK, and really brings the Latin passion to the DeLatin Sound horn section! |
Manos a.k.a Beats de Vyne became a professional percussionist in 2000 and has since been performing extensively throughout the UK and Europe across a variety of entertainment platforms. Manos studies Latin Music with Master Percussionist ‘Robin Jones’ and likes to explore many styles including Afro-Cuban, Latin, Brazilian and African rhythms.
